OUTreach

The purpose of OUTreach is found in...
James 01.22  But be doers of the word, & not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.  We want the youth to not only hear the Word of God, but we want them to be doers as well. 

We are told also by James that . . . faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. (Ja02.17), & we want to give the youth opportunities to put their faith in action.
The model for this is found in . . .

Acts 01.08  But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; & you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem , & in all Judea & Samaria & to the end of the earth  

Church OUTreaches

Acts 01.08   . . . you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem . . .

Helping out at the church & the people who attend CLLA.  Such as helping clean up the church grounds, serving at church functions, & and going to people’s houses to help out with whatever is needed.  Having youth concerts to give the youth an opportunity to invite a friend to hear some music & the Gospel preached.

Community OUTreaches

Acts 01.08  . . . In all Judea & Samria . .

Going to the Village & doing concerts, dramas, ect.  Getting some other local churches involved & doing concerts or any other type of event where there will be good music & the Gospel preached.  Reaching out to those that are looked down upon, even the outcasts.

Mission OUTreaches

Acts 01.08  . . .to the end of the earth. 

Going to other states or countries & working w/a local church.  Sharing the Gospel through work, dramas, concerts, VBS, etc.  If we are giving the youth a strong foundation in the Word, & opportunities to strengthen their faith then we can fulfill the Great Commission in . . .

Matthew 28.19-20  Go therefore & make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father & of the Son & and of the Holy Spirit, “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; & lo I am w/ you always, even to the end of age.”  Amen.
